Safety & compliance

Responsible supply begins before a name reaches the shortlist.

Compliance is treated as a delivery design requirement, not an administrative step at the end. The exact controls depend on the role, jurisdiction, employer arrangement and site risk profile.

01

Role and responsibility mapping

Before recruitment begins, the proposed engagement is mapped to identify the employing entity, host responsibilities, supervision, work location and the licences or partner arrangements that may apply. This prevents an unclear delivery model from being passed on to workers.

  • Employment and host responsibility definition
  • Labour-hire licence pathway considered by jurisdiction
  • Scope, supervision and reporting lines documented
  • Commercial model confirmed before supply
02

Worker verification

Candidate information is checked in proportion to the role. Records are not represented as verified until the relevant evidence has been reviewed and any expiry or restriction has been identified.

  • Identity and right-to-work evidence
  • Role-specific licences, tickets and competencies
  • Employment history and references where agreed
  • Availability, travel and roster confirmation
03

WHS and mobilisation controls

Enerstride's process supports—but does not replace—the client or employer's site-specific WHS obligations. Each party's responsibilities for induction, supervision, PPE, incident response and fitness for work should be confirmed before commencement.

  • Site risk and PPE requirements communicated
  • Induction and emergency information tracked
  • Incident and escalation contacts documented
  • No mobilisation before critical requirements are complete
04

Ethical recruitment and records

Our operating principles are based on fair treatment, accurate records, privacy-aware handling of candidate information and transparent pay and commercial practices. Workers should not pay recruitment fees to access a role.

  • No worker-paid recruitment fee principle
  • Modern slavery awareness in partner selection
  • Purpose-limited handling of personal information
  • Document retention and access controls

Next step

Define the compliance pathway with the workforce requirement.

Send the work scope, location and proposed engagement model. We will identify the verification, partner and mobilisation questions that should be resolved before recruitment starts.
